| Living in a battleground state, the residents of Elko, a small town in the northeastern part of the Nevada, had the opportunity to hear the presidential candidates make their cases firsthand. Barack Obama made three stops here, including one as the Democratic nominee. Most of these photos were taken on Sept 17, 2008, at the Elko city park, where supporters and undecideds alike came from northern Nevada and surrounding states to hear then Sen. Obama speak. A few shots were from his visit here in January during the primary campaign. |
